To bring Kuşadası back to its most sought-after days, 3 investors will make a total investment of $10 million.

Aydın-Kuşadası, which drew intense interest particularly from expatriate citizens and was the foreign-currency champion of Turkish tourism in the 1980s, is longing for its old days. In the 1990s, Kuşadası lost this title due to the facilities built in Çeşme, Bodrum and Antalya.

While 7 to 8 investments were made in the tourism sector this year despite the pandemic, one of them, Unique Life Style Hotel, is being brought to life in Kuşadası by Oğuz Kağan Yurdakan, Dr. Semih Peköz and Sıtkı Kayalı. The total investment will reach $10 million. The investors say: "With investments of this kind, we hope to bring Kuşadası back to the days when it broke records."

The facility, which will operate among pine and century-old olive trees spread across a 10-decare area, will remain open 12 months a year to bring guests a personalized holiday experience.

Employment for 140 people

Despite the pandemic, construction of the facility was completed in as little as four months. The hotel provides direct employment for 140 people and, through its supply and logistics network, for 1,000 people. The fundamental goal of the investors, who kept the hotel limited to 56 rooms, is to offer guests boutique service by creating different concepts for morning, noon and evening. One assistant serves every 10 rooms, and menus are set according to guest preferences.

At the hotel, Aegean cuisine is blended with world cuisine, and wine and whisky tasting events are held. There are children's play areas built with natural wood and sand flooring, as well as a fitness center and a PlayStation game room.
